My pet uses Heal all VI and summon Zombies VI. I dont actually use the id scrolls, I use that as one of my spells.ĭurvish, id, summon skelly 6 and haste as my spells. It allows you to have like 200 I believe similar mana/health/identify/tp scrolls in a stack.

I use the potion stacking mod so I can save space.

My dog was transformed for ages.ĭo you play Torchlight vanilla as is or do you any of the numerous mods that are out? Ive never found it a 2nd time, but one time I had a muckfish duration of 3K seconds. I like the elementals best for my pet, although the treasure chest with teeth is pretty stylish. Instead of looking at the little trippy fishing ball circle thingy, just block it out and wait/watch for the fishing pole to move. Every pool I find I do about 5-10 catches. I was using it.but still died, which shows how aggressively (but enjoyably) stupid I was playing.Ĭlick to expand.I'm the same way, fishing rocks.

Its actually a five quest repeatable series.Īnother highly recommended mod is the life and mana leech mod, which allows you to leech with skills, rather than just normal attack, as in D2. But now I think I have a new goal.get to level 100 on VHHC.Īlso, I highly recommend The Leviathan Quest Mod, which is proffessionally done, and adds the most beautiful and interesting map in the game, with a new repeatable tentacle boss.only for characters 30+. O Well, it was a load of fun while it lasted. (Btw Exploding Arrow is a helluva lot better than fireball in D2, with a huge radius). I was expecting this to happen, because I had thrown all caution to the winds, (being invincible and all, hehe) and started playing very ing Haste VI to rush right into the midst of a huge pack of mobs and then blasting them to bits with Exploding Arrow. Well, my Vanq made it to level 12 of the Shadow Vault before biting the bullet at clvl 46, with 3800+ life. Takes some of the guesswork out of which weapons are better, etc. I like that the weapons display damage in DPS (damage/sec). I'd really prefer to clear the level then come back to the phase portal for some reason. I've found the Phase portals to be somewhat annoying because there is always a big pile o stuff right on it when it appears because a monster dies to spawn it, and I seem to be unable to resist trying to click on the stuff and of course click on the portal instead. Just playing a new game through is a pretty good thrill. I'm most anxious to check it all out than I am at getting the HC thrill. I'll play it all the way through then give HC a spin. Still have quite a number of skill points in reserve. Have points in most of the passives iirc (don't remember specifics), and a point or three in Frost Shield which is pretty cool.

My pet is using lvl 4 archers & lvl 4 heal all, I'm using lvl 4 spells: heal self, flaming sword, haste, & the life-steal spell. going duel wield with a pistol/shield on switch. Currently lvl 24, on floor 23 or 24, can't remember. I've been playing about a week, on VH soft core, palying a Destroyer. To those that enjoy D2 this has all the things that make it great (minus the multiplayer peeps to party with) It's well worth checking out. Ive got 10 in critical, like 8 in mastery soon to be maxed, and the rest in explode-y arrow thingy. I'm level 17 at this point and this char has been really easy to use. I'm going to play through the game's content to check it out, then go back to my beloved VHHC mode. So now I figured I only one class left to try, and spend most of yesterday on a Vanquisher. It's a little harder judging and reading that red bulb. Next I tried making an Alchemist, I got to level 12 on this, also VH-HC and got toasted going down some stairs. I made it to level 9 and died when I entered some vendor purchased portal map thingy. Wow, just checked out this game having downloaded the demo and before the 2 hours was up gladly spent the $20 for this game.įirst character out of the box was a Destroyer on VH HC, I figured, must be like a smashy-face barb.
